Durian!

The King of the fruits :D hohohoho Merry Christmas durian season! :P

*sorry to those who dislike durian, but I couldn't help myself writing this~ maybe u can try to have some durian ^^*

From June to August the durian season, so yeah means that it's ending soon :((( however had a great time indulging the delicious durian this year :)

Remember there's a year that I had eaten so so so many durians. Enjoyed that moment but then after that year, I don't eat that many durians anymore, most probably kinda over that year~

Stop the memory thing~ macam I'm so old :p

Ate durian for 3 times during the season this year, twice the real durian and once the processed durian hehe ^^

First time was with mum, went to a roadside stall and picked durians :) not the thorny ones but already extracted and packed :p for the first time with her I guess? Hehe..

Second time was in church, just a few ate, cuz a pastor couldn't finish her whole box and asked us to share :) had great time listening to them talking about their experience with durian haha :D

Third time was the processed one, haha. Durian Durian from Secret Recipe :) A seasonal cake too, so I'm so happy when I see it among the cakes :D It's a partially ice cream cake as there are a few layers of durian ice cream in between~ Very nice texture and the smell of the durian is just so good! Really enjoyed it :)


I always love durian (especially bitter sweet ones!), and still loving it. Wonder if I can taste great durians again this year.. *durian tooth :P*

Just Random. :)

Heard an aunty once said, '有梦才有想 (When you dream, only you will think)'. In Chinese, we definitely will ask straight, 'what are you having in your mind, separating the two words then make it a quote?'

But then after digesting her line, I realized there's a point.

If we have a dream, then we will take action in making it come true. We will start thinking by then, true much?

Sometimes we are just too hold on to situations that we're comfortable in, and so often we're trapped in our own square.

Be dynamic, and see a whole new side of things :P

Had recent experience on this. Was really afraid to walk out of my comfort zone at first. It's such a magical feeling when I actually overcame it and had fun moments with the people I work with :D

Lesson learnt, hope to improve and become better :)

E Soo Yong Tou Foo :)

Another food post, hehe. Can't help myself writing it because the food here is real nice, I just wanna share with you all~~~ :)

二嫂酿豆腐 E Soo Yong Tou Foo. Not only yong tou foo, but Chinese dishes are served here. My first visit with my family finally after so long, always filled with customers. Same situation when I went there ^^

Ordered some dishes, and yong tou foo. Delicious, and one great thing is, they serve very fast :D

Yong tou foo :) the fishball is actually like fish nugget, big size :P

Deep fried dumplings with fish fillings 炸水饺 :) quite crunchy, very nice smell~

Fried vegie ^^ great taste with the garnish and sauce.

Steam tofu with pork. Love the texture :) softness of the tofu and QQ of the pork :p

Last but not least, Steam fish with ginger ^^ A whole lot of ginger, the ginger gravy is spicy but warms my stomach :) fish is so so so fresh :D (not fresh pun can prepare to close the restaurant ^^)

Price is a bit expensive, maybe due to the big big fish :P Overall good service, the waiters are all around prepare to serve :) no wonder so many people have their meals here =]

10am-10pm on weekdays and Saturday.
10am-9.30pm on Sunday and public holidays :)


College is tomorrow, final 2 months! All the best :D

First Food Post : Porridge Time :)

Porridge Time is the name of the restaurant actually :)

It's a restaurant selling porridge (gahh everyone knows it already, continue~), Chinese name will be 丰衣粥食 ^^ Btw, I went to the branch in One Utama, a small restaurant but packed with people~ :O

Met up with my old high school classmate, and so we decided (should be forced to~) to have porridge as I'm still struggling with the pain from my teeth >< but at the end I'm not forced to have the porridge as I enjoyed eating there :P

Ordered first pot of porridge, 艇仔粥 Teng Chai Porridge, which has crab meat, seaweed and peanuts inside. Filled with feelings of marine~ hehe tasty and quite nice for us. :)

Maybe I eat alot, then we ordered our second pot :D 鱼片粥 Fish Porridge :) The classic choice of porridge :P I love the thick (quite lah for me~) slices of fish, lighter in taste ^^

And 油条 Yao Char Kuai is a must with porridge, right? Sure we ordered it :) and it tastes real good after being soften in the porridge :D

The price is quite okay, not very expensive, still affordable :) RM7 for the first pot, RM7.50 for the second and RM1.40 for the yao char kuai :P

Had a great time chatting and bonding with my classmate, hadn't seen her for 5 months, miss her :3 so we sat there for almost 2 hours :P and watching people in and out ahaha xD Nice atmosphere laa, we're very comfortable there just a little hot :)

Overall, had a great time there :) and The Expendables 2 is so so so great :D

We thought it will be very scary, but it's actually okay and we managed to laugh at few scenes. The shooting, killing and hitting are very exciting :D love everything about it, including the actors :P we ended up so tired after the movie, too focused you know, hehe.

A MUST WATCH ! :D

and try out at this restaurant if you feel like trying porridge ya, me recommend lah :P

Braces :)

Gonna reach the 3 years mark owning braces few months later, but still every time I go for appointment, I'm still nervous and scared >< hehe scared of pain, and wonder how long I need to open my mouth, lips always get very dry cuz of the air-cond in the room gahh. 

So I went to the clinic today, to do 'touch ups' :P ahh 4 weeks why u pass so fast.. Nervous and scared as usual, even when I enter the room I'm still like that, so I always carry a bag with me to hold on heheh :)

Did an x-ray today, as usual the nurse ran out of the room after settling me down. Who wanna share the radiation with me? Free of charge yo :P the nurses will still say no, haizz nevermind it's just within 1 minute with ur head fixed and the machine turning around you.

I thought I can leave the room soon but then I'm so wrong after the nurses asked me to sit back down. Reading 'The Youth Way' while waiting, and it's only my turn after reading half of it. Oh that is a monthly (or two month?) mini reading material, haha quite nice and there's Jeremy Lin in the issue I'm reading :P

Always dislike x10000 when the doc says a huge bunch of words which I couldn't understand. The one that I dislike the most will be the doc changing wires for my braces. If you know the tight feeling, eeeesh I don't like. It means if my upper and lower row of my teeth bite together, the pain is from my teeth~~~~ whoosh that sour feeling. Although they say our teeth is the toughest bone, but after having braces, I see teeth as so so so fragile.

The doc doesn't have idea on when can I remove my braces, he always give different answers during every appointment, he even said how bout having braces for another year. But it's okay la, I'm still studying local by then. And he always say I should be a dentist next time, maybe cuz I had all the worse situations to occur in my mouth.

Rabbit teeth, extra teeth, uneven arrangement, small mouth and my jaw is kinda being outer than normal people (I don't know how to describe arrh..).

Poor doctor, I'm sorry I couldn't help myself so I find you.

However, having braces is good, if I put the pain and nervous and scared feelings aside. My teeth is real tidy now, and I look better (not pretty but better than last time :p). HEHEHE WORTH IT LAHH. :D

Market :)

Went to the hot and stuffy wet market with mama today, not the air-conditioned supermarket.

Realized that I hadn't walked into this kind of market at all this year :O Leave home before the sun rises, and reach home when the sun is about to set, everyday~ This is life, sigh :/

Used to go to the market with mama way back to Form 1 and 2, when I only go to school in the afternoon. And always rushing my homework after coming back from the market hehehe :P

Love to look at those clothes and accessories (especially for my hair :p), rather than the vegetables and fruits and dried products, those are all way back then :) Now slowly growing up, I learn how to pick fresh and good stuff in the market, but I will still take a look at the clothes and accessories if I pass by any stalls selling them, hahahaha :D

The interaction between sellers and buyers is one of the nice thing to watch in the market, they are so nice and I can feel the warmth :) sellers and buyers are like good friends, chatting all the way in the market, conversations are so friendly :P

Had an early lunch after finish buying stuff. Had Red Wine Noodle from New Hing Kee Restaurant which is not a new shop :p I eat there since I was a little girl hehehe.

Nail Art :)

I love colours, but drawing and painting are not my thing.

However, love nail art as I can play with colours and make my nails pretty (more to sloppy actually xD)

Lack of ideas on what to paint on my nails then I went online.

After painting for my two little cousins, it's my nails' turn, they waited so long for their queue haha ^^
