Handmade.

I always have quite some ideas in mind on hand making gifts or cards for family and friends. But when it comes to execution, I suckkkk ttm :(.

Being a left-hander (I prefer the word lefty more :p), they say I should be good in arts. That's not the case for me, sadly. The only part I can say I'm okay with in arts is music. *pat shoulders, at least still have one part*

I never quit trying though. Practice makes perfect kinda work on me :) Realized I'm improving by time, my works aren't that rough like in few years back^^

Gonna show the first card I'd made in 2013. It's for my viola teacher for his farewell, he went to Aussie to further his studies.

Since he's such a 'strings' guy (he plays the guitar, violin and viola), then I thought of having an instrument as the cover of the card. And it's my first time making a card with black paper, so I'd used liquid paper to design. Really tough and it smudged a bit here and there ><

So here are some shots of the card, taken by my teacher. Sorry about my drawing skills, that out of shaped guitar.

Driving

I've passed my driving test! :D haha like finally. And my license is ready too :) JPJ very high efficiency this time, lol good lah.

Driving, overall it's a really nice experience to me. Tbh I was actually afraid to drive. Still remember I was so worried before my first driving lesson, but then it's actually not that bad, so I started enjoying the lessons :)

Don't know if I'm lucky or what, I get to experience all kinds of situations during driving. Thank God I'm still safe after everything :D

It's raining like on 90% of my lessons, and finally it gone too heavy, the exam venue flooded on my 2nd last lesson.

Witnessed a car accident at the exam venue when I was practicing my side parking. Was reversing my car and heard screeching. A car just flew into the sight of my side mirror. And realized that car was behind me waiting for her turn to practice. The car that bang this car, bang another car. Lucky I passed the slope part at once and quickly go to side parking, if not I'm the one get banged. Get banged as a L-license holder even before getting a P license? Not me, lolllll.

Last but not least, traffic jam in a manual car. The disaster, I call it. Experience a massive one, stuck in the jam for over 20 minutes. Control clutch and brake, really a pain :( haha and prevent other drivers from cutting into my lane. Then there's driver who stared at me because I don't let him cut :P EHH BULLY L-LICENSE LAHH?! So I stared back at him hehee :)

The test day was kancheong nervous scared mann, but I steady :) There's an ah pek there nagging and reminding us to do well in all sections. He even did drifting when he got to drive the car back to the slope section after people failed. There's once he failed doing his drifting, then all other people waiting for their turn to be tested burst into laughter :D including me :p

Bro, who's a year younger than me, say the test with me. He was nervous and said since our numbers are the last few in the session, no one will watch us drive the slope section. But when we turn back, there's like 30 people waiting to retake their slope section (they failed last time). Bro completely trolled, haha.

Thank God everything went well, both children of the Ng family passed their driving test! :)

Haha saw two juniors in the test candidate list, so texted them to wish them luck, made them thought I have superpower, know they have test :P Met them and chatted a little, and they passed their test too :)

The lucky number of the day is 71 :D snapped shot while waiting, and drink lots of water due to boredom hehee :p That's all ^^

New Year's Eve is here, Mr. Snake will be visiting everybodyyy tmr! :D

I'm at hometown now, and thank God for yesterday afternoon's SMOOTH TRAFFIC :) (those who said I will be stuck in jam, haha I didn't!^^)

Really don't like traffic jams, especially after experiencing the massive jam while driving a manual car *clutch brake clutch brake -.-*, no one loves traffic jam ba...

Now I'm totally geared up for CNY, didn't buy much clothes and stuff for the new year but had my first experience of my nails being 'decorated' by professional :) just nail art only, very satisfied liao haha.

Googled (everyone's best friend for information lollll) for some nail art ideas :D and the design i want scared those Malay kia-s in the shop, but the lady boss just settled my nails like a boss, haha memang the boss^^

Very snake inspired design on my fingers, she sealed net on my thumb and ring finger to create the snake scales effect. Ombré nails for the rest :)

Had dark blue color with little white daisies on the toenails, simple yet sweet design <3

Hello! Haven't been blogging for almost a month and it's February now. 31 days just passed like *phew~* in this new year, fast and furious, lol not so furious on me, but nod head x10000000 for FAST :3

Once saw my dear good friend wrote,

Live your life that the future you will be proud of :)

And that moved me, I remember it till now, hehee :p

Live well in the present, that's what this line tells me.
And the word present has two meanings embedded in this seven letters,

I think it's a good way to let us think of our lives and make it a better one, by looking into our lives from this two meanings :D

Kinda lose discipline in January, maybe was too relaxed (2012 stressed out? hehee not telling you :p).

So gonna gain back my discipline and passion in living my life and things I'm working on :D

And stay positive :) haha sometimes I just lose confident and faith in myself.
