Well, here I am again! :D
Had such crave for Korean food, but the family lost interest completely after trying out the restaurant in Desa ParkCity. It really wasn't a good experience, so I didn't force them to bring me for Korean food.
Okay you know what I'm gonna blog next, the title had whispered to you. :)
Yeps Korean food for Saturday's dinner ^^ had my cousin to bring us there, along with another cousin as well, it's a family dinner, extended one hahahaha.
Cousin brought us to Nak Won Korea BBQ, one of the restaurants located in Korean Town, Ampang.
Korean Town ;
There are hotels, salons, mini markets etc. etc.,
all opened by Koreans according to you my cousin :P
Back to the restaurant. Ambiance is okay, but the food is good good good! ^^
*Hadn't been using my blackie for quite some time, so if the photos didn't match your expectations, sorry for that. Blackie is the DSLR fyi :P*
Since it says BBQ in the name, of course we won't miss out the Korea BBQ! :)
Since it says BBQ in the name, of course we won't miss out the Korea BBQ! :)
The must haves.
The lettuce to make the wrap with the meat, some sauces, oil, green chili and garlic.
Get the smoke away, long long filter~
(can be pulled up or down ^^)
Oh and the waiters will barbecue the meat for the customers, so we can eat as the meat is being cooked.
They serve when it's hot, and we eat when it's hot!
Golden rule hahahaha :D
There are many choices such as beef, pork and even seafood.
Ordered all beef as it has less fat, healthier approach hehee ^^
They have the original and marinated.
Original one is good! Juicy and chewy :)
If you like the taste of char siew (roasted pork),
well go for the marinated ones, the same sweet taste hehee.
Ox tongue, haha.
First try, not bad~
Not forgetting the variety of side dishes.
Fish cakes are good hahaha. And surprisingly steamed egg is on the table.
Some good food besides BBQ :)
Bibimbap!
Great flavors :)
Ginseng chicken soup
Love it! And they have rice stuffed in the chicken^^
Kimchi pancake :)
It turned out to be redder in the photo than it really is.
But it's really good :p
Tteokbokki!
Best dish of the night :)
Love the spiciness, and chewy. Not forgetting the vegetables and glass noodles inside.
Big love! <3
Not forgetting the drinks we had.
Brown rice green tea :)
Very nice aroma from the brown rice~
Not forgetting the love from the lady boss,
she treated us Rice Wine for free!
Smooth down the throat hehee ^^
Shots of the little glass we have our rice wine in :)
Sealed the meal with sweet barley water and watermelon.
Didn't snap shot of watermelon, so imagine it in your mind.
Red color, green skin.. :P
Overall great good food!
Service is okay, just that some waiters don't get what we're talking about.
Remember to come early or make a reservation, as the restaurant is filled up with diners gradually after 7pm. :)
